Triton Environmental Consultants Ltd.
In 2010, Communica partnered with Triton to collaborate on business development, project work and related activities. The two companies provide complementary services to similar clients, so there is a benefit to all our clients in drawing on the broad range of professional services offered by both firms. Triton’s repertoire includes a wide range of scientific, technical and management expertise that merge to provide practical environmental solutions. Specifically, Triton provides environmental impact assessments, environmental planning, management and monitoring, biological and ecological inventories, regulatory applications, environmental audits, water resources engineering and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) services.

HMA Land Services
HMA began serving the Canadian pipeline industry in 2001 and quickly emerged as a land management and land support company of choice in Western Canada. In 2009, HMA began offering operational services focusing on damage prevention, emergency management and security management for the pipeline industry. HMA Land Services delivers project management and support expertise in areas such as land acquisitions, routing and facility site selection, title search and analysis, third-party crossings and encroachment management.
Synergy Alberta
Communica first partnered with Synergy Alberta in 2008. Synergy Alberta is a provincial not-for-profit society that supports synergy groups. It embodies the principle of working together to resolve issues, lessen impacts and encourage the use of best practices in the areas of health, safety and the environment. Communica believes in fair, responsible public consultation and Synergy Alberta fosters and supports those values.
Professional memberships
International Association for Public Participation (IAP2)
Communica is heavily involved with IAP2 and all employees are encouraged to become IAP2 certified. IAP2 is an international association of members who seek to promote and improve the practice of public participation in relation to individuals, governments, institutions and other entities that affect the public interest.
Canadian Public Relations Society (CPRS)
The Canadian Public Relations Society is an organization of men and women who practice public relations in Canada and abroad. Members work to maintain the highest standards and to share a uniquely Canadian experience in public relations. CPRS also provides an accreditation program for members.
Association for Mineral Exploration B.C. (AMEBC)
AMEBC promotes a healthy, sustainable and environmentally sound mineral exploration and mining sector in B.C. It has grown to be one of the most respected mineral exploration organizations in North America. Communica actively participated in the Mineral Exploration Roundup, a major technical mineral exploration conference hosted by AMEBC, in both 2010 and 2011.
B.C. Chamber of Commerce
The B.C. Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization representing the interests and concerns of local Chambers of Commerce and corporate members from across the province. Communica is a member in good standing.
