Kevin Brown, APR – Prince George, B.C.
Kevin Brown, APR, brings 27 years of media and public relations experience in B.C. and northern Alberta to Communica as a Senior Associate. Kevin is President of Kevin Brown Communications (KBC) and is based in Prince George. In May 2010, Kevin agreed to become a Senior Associate with Communica and make his knowledge and experiences working with communities throughout northern B.C. and northern Alberta available to Communica clients. Kevin specializes in community relations, crisis communications, issues management, strategic communications planning, facilitation and other communications and relationship development services. Kevin will be a frequent visitor to the Communica Vancouver office to meet with clients and pursue new opportunities.
Pat Devlin – Calgary, Alberta
Pat Devlin has more than 20 years’ experience in communications planning, project management and writing for electronic and print media, with a focus on oil sands development, climate change, energy technologies, policy development and corporate social responsibility in Canada’s oil and gas industry. She has worked as a reporter for a number of Canadian daily newspapers, and as a communications consultant/contractor based in Calgary developing and producing major communications projects for clients such as Shell Canada, PetroCanada, Enbridge, Encana, the Petroleum Communication Foundation, Canadian Energy Pipeline Association and the Brain Injury Group. Pat has a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Journalism from Ryerson University, and has done graduate work in Communications at the University of Calgary.
Dymphny Dronyk – Calgary, Alberta
Dymphny Dronyk has specialized in stakeholder and community relations, crisis communication and emergency preparedness for both corporate and non-profit sectors for more than 17 years. She has held management positions in resource industry projects throughout Western Canada and has a special interest in oil and gas mediation and negotiation – she is a mediator on the Alberta Justice Civil Court mediation roster and has been a member of the Alberta Arbitration and Mediation Society since 1999.
Dymphny has a background in journalism and public relations, and her international communication expertise ranges from consensus-building with industry, schools, municipalities and First Nations communities to event facilitation and board and policy development. She is also an author, editor and publisher of several best-selling books.
